The team has now passed through security at Heathrow airport and is currently waiting to depart Heathrow. We would like to thank all the Qatar Airways and Heathrow security staff who have been very supportive and generous.

We would also like to thank all of the well wishers who have got in touch to offer their help and support. It is very warming to recieve such support.

The latest information we have indicates that the international search and rescue effort is well under way in Padang. We are hopeful that the efforts of the international community provide some much needed assitance to those in affected areas.
